2023-24 Online Digital Tools Consent Form /  Formulario de consentimiento de herramientas digitales en línea
Fox Chapel staff use a variety of online digital tools to reinforce instruction. These tools have been evaluated to be safe for student use and are consistent with federal laws of student data privacy. MCPS requests your consent to allow your student(s) to use these tools as they may collect personally identifiable student information such as first and last name, classroom teacher, or grade level. The information is typically collected by online digital tools to enable use of the tool to track student progress.

Descriptions of the below supplemental tools are provided on the MCPS Data Privacy and Security website, located at: http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/data-privacy-security/.

Below are MCPS approved apps that require your consent for student use: 
ABC Mouse, ABCya, Animation-Ish, Blooket, BookCreator, ClassDojo, Classroomscreen, Code.org, Dreamscape, Epic!, Flipgrid, Freckle Math, iCivics, IXL, Kahoot!, Khan Academy, Kleki, Legends of Learning, Math Playground, MANGO, Menti/Mentimeter, Padlet, Pear Deck, Prodigy, Quizizz, Quizlet, Scratch, Scratch Jr., Screencastify, Spelling City, Seesaw, Splash Math, Toontastic, Tynker, Typing Club, Unsplash, Vocaroo, Whiteboard.fi, XtraMath, Zearn 

If you choose not to provide consent for your student to use the listed tools, alternative instructional activities will be provided.
