MEET South Africa Potjiekos Contest 2023 Proudly co-organized by: The Braai Guy
Thank you for your interest in entering your team into the Potjiekos competition at the upcoming SaffaFest: MEET South Africa in Hsinchu County on Saturday 11 March 2023.

This is your online Registration Form.
~ 10 teams will participate but only one will be crowned the champion.
~ Entrance fee is NT$900 per team. This will get you your Team space, a stone braai (BBQ) area, an adjacent table and umbrella, and 7kg high quality charcoal.
~ PRIZES:
* Champion, * 2nd Prize, * Best Gees (spirit)
* Most Original Potjie
~ For the "* Best Potjie overall (Champion)", please note that since the theme of this SaffaFest is "MEET South Africa", there will be higher weighting of points allocated to how representative of South Africa your Team entry overall is, so please keep the issue of decor and interaction with the public in mind when you conceptualise your Potjiekos recipe and ideas for your entry.
Good news... there may be Potjies available to rent or buy from Derik (The braai Guy).
~ There is space for only 10 teams. Your spot will only be secured once you've paid the entry fee.

Potjies (Number 3 Size) will be sold for NT$2,500 (to competitors only). If you want to rent the pot, it cost NT$400 for the day. You need to pay a refundable deposit of NT$600 which you’ll get back once you give the pot back cleaned.
