Welcome back GVS teachers and staff! The GPTG is looking for your ideas, dreams, suggestions, and input for potential student, staff, family, parent in-services, assemblies, enrichment programs in hopes of developing a "curriculum enrichment" funding initiative! We are also using this opportunity to collect any ideas staff/teachers may have for utilization of community volunteers. As we collect volunteer information, we are interested in ideas you may have to best use volunteers in your classroom/school.
We encourage you all to think in/outside the "box." Ideas could include:
- school-wide assemblies appropriate for all student grades (i.e., Chris Poulos speaker last year)
- enrichment programs geared more specifically to a single grade/unified art that may lend itself nicely to the curriculum (i.e., traveling Planetarium/tide pool tanks/Author visit/musical performance)
- evening educational opportunity for parents (i.e., Lynn Lyons, LICSW) and/or staff
- ways community volunteers could help in classroom
Please utilize this form to submit each of your ideas directly to GPTG. We will keep a link to this form open and available to staff throughout the year, so feel free to submit as frequently as you think of ideas (1 per form to help us keep organized). Please leave your name and grade/specialty and any other details (websites, contact info, potential cost, appropriate audience).
Thank you!
