2024 Niwot's Challenge Application

This is the official application one must submit in order to gain entry in to the 2024 Niwot's Challenge. Niwot's is an invitation only event. You are not "in" simply by completing this form, you will only be admitted into the event provided that you have been invited by The Lorax. Niwot's is a graduate level adventure.

Chief's an Deity's Division: You either need to know how to use map and/or compass, or have the ability to keep up with someone who can. Technology is not permitted in this division. No GPS. No Phones. No Bullshit. NO WHINING. If you think you have what it takes, complete the form and submit.

Circle of Neva Division: This division is for those of you who wish to participate in Niwot's Challenge by taking on a special version of the "Burn Loop" utilizing GPS/Cell Phone Technology.

Niwot's Challenge has always been HPRS' more "irreverent" event. Some who participate in this event may make any number of off-color references or statements. Sarcasm is a language some of us use. As an example, over the years we have asked participants to rip a page out of religious works like the Bible, as well as classic books like Fifty Shades of Grey, The Tempest, The Great Gatsby, and The Diary of Anne Frank. If you are easily offended, can't take a joke, are over the top when it comes to political correctness, can't seem to grasp that to us these are just books, or engage in "selective outrage" (as in.. ripping a page out of the bible offends you, but the references to native cultures do not) you should refrain from applying. No apologies will be given to those who are offended later. It's running, this is for fun, RELAX. If you select "Yes" or "Maybe" below, you may think again about completing this application.
