The Wrappers Club is Monday to Friday, term time only. This club is not open on Inset Days or any other days when the school is closed. The Wrappers Club incorporates Breakfast and Afterschool provision.
The Wrappers Club is operated by school staff, all of whom have up-to-date security checks and regular safeguarding training.
Children will have a choice of breakfast options, including a variety of cereals and toast with a selection of toppings. Snacks will be provided in the afternoon club such as pasta, toast with toppings and a selection of fruit. Water and juice will also be provided.
Activities will include games and activities as well as more quiet activities such as reading, puzzles and colouring.
Children in Reception and KS1 will be escorted to their classes and handed to their classroom Teacher/TA at 8.45am. Children in KS2 will make their own way to their classrooms.
Wrappers Club is all inclusive. If children have an EHCP and 1:1 support, parents will need to provide funding because no money is available for extended provision as this is optional care. The wraparound provision cannot accommodate participation if the child's safety is at risk.
Fees are calculated to cover staffing costs, facilities and the refreshments provided, and are kept at a minimum. Should it be necessary to increase the fees the school will give parents/carers at least one month’s notice.
In the event of the Wrappers Club’s closure due to severe weather parents/carers will be contacted via the emergency telephone number they have provided.
The Wrappers Club is provided to families as an extended service and as such, should parents/carers or children not adhere to the provision’s terms and conditions, your child's place may be withdrawn.
Parents/carers are expected to hand their child over to the group supervisor from 7.30am and not before.
We reserve the right to cancel the club, if we have staff shortages and we will always endeavour to give you as much notice as possible.
