Armchair Mixologist is a monthly contest where - you guessed it - armchair mixologists create their own cocktails and work with our bartenders to perfect their recipes. Every first Friday of month, a new set of mixologists enter the fray with their homemade cocktails in a bid to make the most sales in the following month.

Contestants are encouraged to raise support from their community - the drink with the most orders by the end of the month moves onto semi-finals, a 3-hour scramble among past winners to make the most sales! The final winner earns a spot on our house cocktail menu for a year!

Mixologists have access to the Toad's well spirits. They are also allowed (and encouraged) to use ingredients not usually carried in-house - we have had contestants bring in pecans, homemade syrups, and even Pop Rocks! (Note: any special ingredients must be provided by contestant.)
