TJMS PTSA Awards Nomination Form - 2023
Each year the PTSA recognizes educators and volunteers that have gone above and beyond for our students and school community. If you know of individuals deserving of the Outstanding Educator Award or the Golden Acorn (Outstanding Volunteer) Award, please complete and submit the form below by Friday, April 14, 2023. If you would like to nominate more than one staff member and/or volunteer, you can submit the form more than once.

TJMS PTSA will present the recipients with a special pin and certificate, their name will be engraved on the school's plaque with other recipients, and a contribution will be made in their name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program, which grants scholarships to graduating seniors who will be starting college.

OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD
Do you know an individual who has made a difference in your child’s education?
The Outstanding Educator Award was created to recognize educators who go beyond the normal expectations of their jobs to make the learning environment fun, beneficial, and challenging. They provide outstanding educational opportunities and/or have made significant contributions that enhance education for children. An educator can be a teacher, support staff, administrator, or community member.

GOLDEN ACORN (OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER) AWARD
Do you know an individual who is continually volunteering for Thomas Jefferson Middle School?  
The Golden Acorn is an award that recognizes volunteers who have given outstanding service to all children in the school community. This award is intended for the volunteers who have gone above and beyond and have given continued and dedicated service.
