2020 COMMEMORATIVE ORNAMENT

This beautiful Christmas ornament is an illustration of an original watercolor commissioned for Elevation House by local professional artist, Cheryl Riner Hodge. The ornament front depicts the front entry of the historic Kelsey-Aycock-Burrell Center (KAB), the current home of Elevation House. The beautiful rendition of the KAB highlights the "open door of opportunity' that the center has been for so many in our community. The KAB Center, evolved from a religious-supported school begun in 1883 to a racially segregated Rome City school in 1934. The KAB Center, named for three former principals of the school, is a proud symbol of community progress. This is Elevation House’s first annual commemorative Christmas ornament- a limited edition.
