The rules are simple! Put a list together of stamps and souvenir sheets you’ve researched dealing with Boston in some way, up to a maximum of 100. Have all details ready to type in before you start entering data.
For each entry you will need to the following:
> Year issued
> Country
> Major Stamp Catalog Used (Scott, Stanley Gibbons, Michel or Yvert & Tellier)
> Catalog Number of the stamp or souvenir sheet
> Describe what is depicted on the stamp or souvenir sheet
> Briefly explain how it relates to Boston
Make sure each entry is correct before moving on to the next one.
Entries must be made using this official form available online between November 1 and December 31 when the contest ends. Only one entry per person is allowed. You will receive a confirmation email detailing your entries on successful submission of this form.
Questions about the contest may be emailed to contest@boston2026.org any time.
There will be three winners overall, two selected randomly and one for finding the highest number of stamps and souvenir sheets. In case of a tie, the earliest entry wins. All three receive a prize package of Boston 2026 mementos and souvenirs. Winning participants will be notified by email in early January. Good luck!
The term "stamps" in the questions below relate to stamps or souvenir sheets!
