This research effort intends to LISTEN...to YOU and to every other henna artist who wishes to participate.  It is NOT a quick survey.  Even if you take the shorter route options and give some brief answers, you will likely need the better part of an hour (or even two) to do this well.  You don't need to do it all at once, but when you do engage, I hope you will get yourself a cup of your favorite beverage, get cozy, and enjoy.  If you feel stressed, rushed, or uncertain about this project, I'd encourage you to skip it or do this another time.  We are hoping for the most honest responses possible, so feel safe in answering for what is true right now.  Your willingness to participate is a tremendous gift and hopefully, in time, will benefit the greater henna artist community. Thank you.

There are 21 sections, but because not all sections apply to everyone (hobbyists and professional artists have separate sections...henna heritage and not-from-henna-heritage artists have separate sections as well), you will only answer between 13 and 19 of the sections.  If the questions aren't clear or perfectly related to your experience, please use the "Other" option to explain/elaborate.  Don't stress over it.

NOTE: If you can access the form from a desktop Google account, the form will automatically save as you go, and you can return to it in several shorter sittings as you wish. I've heard from those working on a mobile phone it can be VERY frustrating, and you might lose your progress. In a Google account, you may go back and change answers as you like, and you may return to this survey to edit it... even after you submit it... so no worries if you rethink a response or remember something relevant later.  You can return. Your privacy is respected and protected.
