WHAT'S A THIRD-CLASS TICKET?
On Sunday, October 6, 2019, Bon Air Baptist Church Lead Pastor, Tom Stocks, shared the story of the third-class ticket. As the story goes, while traveling back in the old west, a third-class ticket was the least expensive stagecoach ticket. The holder had to load their own bags, take any seat available (or walk), and when problems arose, they were expected to do whatever was needed to help the travelers get to the destination—they were asked to serve.

WHY SERVE?
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
Consider what God has done for you, and remember all that God has given you: your gifts, passions, and skills. You're designed and equipped for a purpose—to serve.
NEXT STEPS
If you're already serving...
Great! Consider your next step! If you're not already mentoring/coaching someone where you serve, it's time. And it's easy. Simply find someone to shadow you—someone you can teach to do what you do as you serve. It's important to remember that duplicating yourself isn't meant to replace you; it's meant to create exponentially greater kingdom impact. It's meant to help you transfer your knowledge and disciple others to create a continuous pipeline of new and growing leaders here at Bon Air Baptist Church—and beyond.
If you're not serving, aren't sure where you should serve, or you're considering a change...
First, prayerfully consider the best place to serve.
