SSOL 2023 Service Exchange Application: Setup and Breakdown Crew 
The Solstice Setup and Breakdown Crew is responsible for setting the intention for a blessed, healing, inspiring experience at the Summer Solstice Festival. We arrive early and stay late. The team opens Guru Ram Das Puri, the site for our Solstice event. When Solstice closes, the team packs it up and at the same time, supports the transition into our next event, White Tantric Yoga (if desired).

We need strong souls who are comfortable with physical work. Generally, setup tasks include unpacking storage, moving stuff around, setting things up, decorating and landscaping. It is a good mix of the physical, creative, hard work and fun.

The team prepares our own meals so if you'd like to be part of the dedicated kitchen crew, please be sure to select Kitchen as your preferred work when you fill out the application below.  

- You may be called on to serve, as needed, during the Solstice event.

The work that this team performs is the most physically demanding work done at Solstice. This team requires a high level of steady endurance and positive attitude during the two week setup period and two day breakdown.

With this in mind, do you have any special circumstances that we should consider? Please advise us of any physical limitations such as ongoing health or wellness issues, pregnancy, food intolerance or anything else you feel is a consideration so that we can help you determine if Solstice Setup and Breakdown is right for you.

Please also include here Solstice obligations that may impact your ability to commit fully to the team's responsibilities. Examples include: selling in the solstice bazaar, responsible for primary care of a child or partner, other circumstances.

Remember that if you are unable to commit to the full term of service, this team is not right for you.
