Cauda Equina Foundation is a 100% volunteer-run organization and we need you to volunteer to help us achieve our mission to improve the quality of life and care of individuals living with cauda equina syndrome (CES) and associated disorders. Become part of a community of leaders driving positive change in thousands of people's lives who live with CES.

1. We operate on a 100% virtual office- no need for gas money or rush hour headaches. You will need a computer with a microphone and camera, and reliable internet connectivity- public access wifi is prohibited without first installing NORD VPN or other organization approved VPN application (verification is required). Full-time volunteers (>20 hours) may qualify for assistance in acquiring equipment and internet connectivity needed to perform their duties- budget dependent (must be returned upon completion of volunteer role).

2. Make your own hours (for the most part), stay in your comfy pants, and build friendships and experiences through doing good.

3. We understand the need to be flexible with our volunteer's schedules. Please keep open communication with us regarding your availability or need for a breaks and time off, so we can ensure projects and duties are covered and on time while providing the flexibility lacking in today's corporate world.

4. Your health, wellbeing, and family are the most important things to us. If you are unwell or have a family emergency, just let us know as soon as possible.

5. While we are flexible, please remember that we do have deadlines and no one person can do it all. We are a team of volunteers working together to drive positive change for those living with CES.

6. Ideas are welcome. We believe that diverse opinions and experiences will significantly aid us in accomplishing our goals.
