This is a contract form for Wonder Tails Canine Transport- The following is the terms and conditions of Transport- The person paying for transportation is to fill this out. This contract covers any representative of Wonder Tails Canine Transport.

All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age to be transported. The individual requesting or arranging for transport certifies that the pet being transported by Wonder Tails Canine Transport is at least 8 weeks of age on or before transport pick-up date. The person signing this form certifies the age of the pet to be at least 8 weeks old.* *

A valid health certificate issued by a doctor of veterinary medicine is required no sooner than 15 days before the scheduled delivery date. The certificate must travel with the pet. Medical records or vaccine records cannot be used as a substitution.* *

A current rabies vaccination certificate must travel with your pet (for pets over 16 weeks of age).* *

A copy of our Emergency Care Authorization form must be completed and must travel with your pet. If multiple pets are traveling, you may list them all on a single form, or you may attach a blank sheet of paper to the form if additional space is needed. This form gives us permission to take your pet to a qualified veterinarian in the event they become ill during transport. Should this be necessary, we will make every effort to contact you prior to seeking emergency action. However, if you cannot be reached to have medical emergency treatment approved by you, we will use our discretion to ensure the well-being and health of your pet. All charges for veterinary care will be your responsibility. There will be an additional charge for the administration of any medication at the rate of $5.00/day per pet. Please have the Emergency Care Authorization form, health certificate(s) and copy of rabies certificates in an envelope readily available for the driver when your pet is picked up.* *

We will require an ample amount of food for your pet in a container or bag that can be closed/sealed securely. No paper or plastic supermarket bags. Please label your food bag with your pet’s name and feeding instructions (amounts and frequency of meals). Your pet will have access to fresh, clean drinking water. We will provide all bedding, water, and treats unless otherwise specified.* Please communicate this with the breeder. *

We can only accept a tote or a square container that is approximately no larger than a gallon size bag of dog food. Anything larger than this must be cleared in advance and will be based on the availability of space on board at the time of transporting.* Please communicate this with your breeder. *

We will not transport any pet that requires a muzzle or other restrictive device. Our driver-handlers reserve the right to refuse transport of any pet that displays signs of aggression.* *

50% of the total transport fee is due at booking. This amount in non-refundable. The remaining 50% is due at delivery. We process payments through Square invoice for the online safety of your credit card. *

Scheduling - Pick-up and Delivery. We cannot guarantee specific pickup and delivery dates and times. We will make every effort to adhere to dates specified by you to Wonder Tails Canine Transport, but there can be unforeseeable circumstances which affect the dates given for transport which can include weather, road conditions, acts of God, etc. We will handle these incidents on a case by case basis.  If no person is present at the time of transport and/or the above described paperwork is not in order at the time of pick-up or delivery, we have the right to continue without your pet. You will be charged for the full amount of the transport fee.* *

Scheduling - Length of Transport. You understand that there is no guarantee or promise made as to the length of time necessary to complete the transport of your pet. The duration of transport is determined by routing, weather, and traffic conditions and could potentially last up to 24 hours. While this is rare, all efforts will be made to keep you informed and to keep your pet as comfortable and happy as possible. We provide transport services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be provided with estimated pick up and delivery time/dates. We will make every effort to arrive at convenient times, however, scheduling changes and unforeseen delays beyond our control may occur.* *

DELIVERY. We will make every reasonable attempt to notify the person receiving the pet of our estimated time of arrival. If no one is available to receive the animal and/or we are unable to contact the responsible party, there will be a delay fee of $500 per pet to defray the cost of rescheduling flights. The party ordering the transport will be responsible for these charges. We recommend that alternate arrangements be made in the event the person responsible for receiving the animal is unable to do so. The receiving party must be available 24 hours a day.* *

MOST IF NOT ALL, OF OUR TRANSPORT RUNS ARE COORDINATED WELL IN ADVANCE . A RUN MAY BE TIGHTLY COORDINATED TO ACCOMMODATE EACH INDIVIDUAL'S LOCATION AND DATES. ONCE WE BUILD A TRIP (FLIGHT NANNY)  IT IS DIFFICULT AND COSTLY TO RESCHEDULE AND TO MODIFY THE PLANS LAST MINUTE. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. IF CHANGES ARE MADE 21 DAYS PRIOR WE WILL MAKE AN EFFORT TO RESCHEDULE AT THE PREFERRED TIME BUT ANY FEES INCURRED TO RESCHEDULE WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOU. AFTER 21 DAYS THEN IT IS UNDERSTOOD BY YOU THAT THE REFUND IS A TOTAL FORFEIT . *

Airline Issues-If the flight is cancelled because an airline issue, the airline will make effort to reschedule at no cost but this may have to be coordinated with availability at our next available date. We will make every effort to make it as soon as possible. *
If for whatever reason the airline refuses to accept the pet as a carry-on (size/weight requirements, duel transport, restricted breed, etc) all fees for rescheduling will be responsibility of you and are non-refundable. **This is rare, but the airline can refuse 2 animals of similar size in the same flight carrier or if the animal cannot move freely, stand and be comfortable in the carrier. This is at the discretion of  the airline and is out of our control. We make every effort to only book allowable sizes for in flight transport just be aware if shipping two animals together this can happen.  We will notify the shipper if for whatever reason the animal cannot ship and they will be asked to return to the airport for pickup and any further travel will be coordinated between the parties involved. Any quotes/agreements given prior become invalid at this time and the trip will be re-quoted for the animals separately. ** *
 We expect drop off at the airport 2 hours in advance of the flight to ensure making scheduled flights. Our schedule is very tight- if the drop-off or pick up is more than 15 min late then a $100 fee will be incurred, if flights are missed due to late arrival, Wonder Tails Canine Transport will not be responsible for the missed flight. All expenses to reschedule will be at the expense of the buyer/shipper. *
Wonder Tails Canine Transport reserves the right to refuse transport of any pet due to misrepresentation at the time of scheduling as to the pets ability to walk or stand of its own accord, or on a leash, and is of a size and weight that one person is able to pick up and carry.* Must be below the required weight limit of the airlines. Each airline has their own requirements:  American 8 week-17lbs, Delta 10 weeks-20lbs, Alaska 8 weeks-20lbs, Spirit-8 weeks-40lbs, Southwest 8 weeks -no lb limit, United 16 weeks-20 lbs. *

Wonder Tails Canine Transport has the right to take photos of the new owner and their puppy to publish on social media and send proof to the breeder of the arrival. *
Buyer & Breeder must be part of group message with flight nanny, able to respond  in case of emergency from time of drop off  until delivery. If breeder does not respond in the message, we will notify the buyer and reserve the right to take to the breeders vet that issued the health certificate. *
