The Helmsmen Institute's Speech and Debate Club, Voyagers, is open to beginning, intermediate and advanced Stoa speakers and debaters, and a Juniors club for students ages 7 and older. Please complete this form so we can get to know you and understand your interest in the club. An interview process will determine membership in the club.

Active Parent Participant - $100 per year, sibling discount available ((Parent attends 75% of meetings per quarter, is an active volunteer, and fulfills mandatory requirements, including judging rounds as needed during meetings)

Part Time Parent Participant - $250 per year, sibling discount available (Parent attends 25% of meetings per quarter, volunteers 2 times per semester, and fulfills mandatory requirements)

Remote/Virtual Participant - $100 - $150 per year (Student and parent participate in on-line meetings; parent judges rounds as needed during meetings, student competes as Voyager Team member in pre-arranged agreement)

During 2020 - 2021, Voyagers met virtually (3:30 - 5:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday). For those who are able to meet in person, we will decide upon a meeting schedule. Please indicate below which of these schedules would work for you for in-person meetings. (Check all that apply.) *
