National Treasures: Program Proposal Form

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱: This proposal form is being used during the pilot phase of National Treasures to help inform the development of future projects. Plans for 2022 are established, while we are looking forward to plans for 2023 and beyond.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 f𝗼𝗿𝗺: It may be sometime before we are in touch, unless something in your proposal is fitting a timely/funded aspect of our work in 2023. We will periodically review the proposal submissions as we prepare for 2024 and beyond. Proposals that seem viable may be shared with National Treasures program team and local NPS interpretive program staff, to see if there are partners and funds available to support the pilot.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀: A Tour of Culture Bearers in National Parks is a National Council for the Traditional Arts (NCTA) initiative highlighting the stories of America’s most distinguished cultural ambassadors and illustrating connections to signature places within the American landscape through the National Park Service.
