Monadnock Region Natural History Conference: CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We are now accepting abstracts for presentations to be considered for the second Monadnock Region Natural History Conference, which will be held on November 12, 2022 at Keene State College. Presenters will be expected to attend in person, although attendees will have a hybrid online option. (We will be monitoring COVID developments carefully, and complying with Keene State College's COVID protocols. We will provide additional information on these protocols — and any associated changes to the conference — as it becomes available.)

We welcome proposals for research presentations on wildlife, biodiversity, wetlands and stream ecology, forest ecology and management, Mount Monadnock, community science, climate change, human connections to nature, accessibility and inclusion in the outdoors, and other conservation research conducted in the Monadnock Region of southwest New Hampshire.

The Monadnock Region Natural History Conference is co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, Keene State College, Antioch University New England, Franklin Pierce University, UNH Cooperative Extension, the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions, the Historical Society of Cheshire County, and Distant Hill Gardens and Nature Trail.

Abstracts are limited to 2,500 characters. Bios are limited to 1,000 characters.

All presenters are required to register for the conference at no cost. Registration will open in mid-summer 2022 at: https://harriscenter.org/monadnock-region-natural-history-conference/registration.

Submissions for oral presentations and poster abstracts are due by October 3, 2022.
