Property Assistant Application (Wolfpack Sports Properties)
Wolfpack Sports Properties (WSP) is actively seeking a Property Assistant to work during the 2024-25 school year. Our Property Assistants are essential to LEARFIELD and our properties' success. We are looking for a well-organized, responsible, and outgoing individual to provide the necessary support to the WSP team. The goal is to execute partnership elements to ensure an enjoyable game day experience for the WSP team, partners, and NC State fans. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, we want to meet you!

The position will provide excellent on-site marketing and sales training within the sports and entertainment industry. Property Assistants will be paid hourly. Hours vary depending on the NC State Athletics schedule. Property Assistants will begin at the start of the NC State University 2024 Fall Semester, and finish at the end of the NC State University 2025 Spring Semester. Those who are only able to work for a single semester may still apply, but must include in their application which semester they are applying for and their reason why.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with game day and event operations and management, including set up of select in-venue signage, hospitality events/suites, and game day displays
  • Fulfillment of on and off-field/court promotions for corporate sponsors (displays, promotional handouts, contests, etc.)
  • Communication with various departments of NC State Athletics
  • Handle other miscellaneous projects as needed

Qualifications
  • High level of initiative, coupled with the ability to work independently
  • Ability and willingness to initiate and maintain personal relationships
  • Highly organized; able to prioritize and execute tasks
  • Focus on attention to detail; quality over quantity
  • Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including all home football, men’s and women's basketball games, baseball, and other sporting events as needed
  • Current NC State University or other nearby student pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or other related field
