This course has been designed to help learners appropriately cite sources in their research papers or theses. Particularly it will train the participants on the guidelines of APA documentation style (seventh edition). The course provides paratactical techniques for dealing the important aspects of academic writing; paraphrasing and quotations.

Objectives

Upon the completion of this course, trainees are expected to:
  1- Select credible sources to address research questions.
  2- Identify the structure and formatting of in-text citations following APA Style.
  3- Paraphrase and quote information correctly according to APA Style.
  4- Identify the structure and formatting of references following APA style.
