Workshop: How to incentivize online participants

What: Do you need ideas for how to get participants to do their best? Are you unsure whether to pay people upfront or when they finish the study? Do you want to compensate participants but don't have funding? In this workshop, we cover different forms of incentives and compensation. 

We will answer the following questions:
  • What is the difference between incentives, rewards, and compensation?
  • What kinds of incentives can you use?
  • If you plan to pay people, how much should you pay?
  • What non-monetary rewards can you give?
  • How can you use gamification as an incentive?
By the end of this workshop, you'll have a toolkit of incentives you can use to motivate participants in your study.
