The Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs has the pleasure to invite you to an INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMBATING ANTISEMITISM AND PRESERVING JEWISH HERITAGE, which will be held under the project "Strategic cooperation between Bulgaria and Norway in support of Bulgaria's international commitment to combating antisemitism and preserving Jewish heritage", financed by the Fund for Bilateral Relations of the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
The aim of the event is the international exchange of good practices for countering contemporary antisemitism and hate speech, as well as for the preservation of Jewish cultural heritage and historical memory about the Holocaust. The conference will be divided into three panels "Combating antisemitism and hate speech", "Preserving Jewish cultural heritage" and "Educational initiatives for Holocaust Remembrance".
DATE/VENUE
The conference will take place on October 31, 2022 in Sofia Hotel Balkan, Sredets Hall. The working languages will be Bulgarian and English with simultaneous interpretation provided.
