The Rochester Jamaican Organization, Inc. was founded in 2006 as an association that will provide Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica with a network that will enable access to resources that will positively impact the social conditions of Jamaicans in Jamaica and in Rochester.
Applicants will be considered for one of the following scholarships:
- Rochester Jamaican Organization Inc. (RJO) Monroe Community College Foundation Scholarship (MCC). NOTE: Only applicants planning to attend MCC will be considered for this scholarship
- Rochester Jamaican Organization Inc. (RJO) Deloris Asynthia Lewis (D.A.L) Memorial Scholarship
- Rochester Jamaican Organization Inc. (RJO) Nico Mundy, Sr. (N.M.) Memorial Scholarship
- Rochester Jamaican Organization Inc. (RJO) Advisory Council (A.C.) Scholarship
- Rochester Jamaican Organization Inc. (RJO) Friends Scholarship (F.S)

Criteria
To be eligible for Rochester Jamaican Organization, Inc. scholarships, the applicant must:
- Be a high school graduating student who has been accepted to or enrolled in a regionally accredited higher education institution as a full-time matriculated student.
- Be a Jamaican or of Jamaican descent.
