3/15/23 National Air & Space Museum-DCPZ Educators' Workshop

The Final Frontier: Examining Our Relationship With Space Exploration
Wednesday, March 15, 2023, 4:30-6:30pm
600 Independence Ave SW, DC 20560

Humans have been exploring space for as long as they could look skyward. The mid 20th century saw the Space Race fuel that global obsession and Americans looking to space as a place to claim. Using thinking routines and museum objects, teachers will explore the idea of space as a frontier to be conquered, and what the future of space exploration might mean for our technological, intellectual, political, and artistic relationships with the cosmos.
