NOTE: there are 3 different ways to participate in the South Royalton Community Garden. The 3 options are described below, please read carefully before completing the application. You will be prompted to select your preference below. IT IS THE SOUTH ROYALTON COMMUNITY GARDEN'S POLICY TO ABIDE BY THE STANDARDS OF ORGANIC GARDENING FOR ALL PLOT OPTIONS (https://nofavt.org/sites/default/files/files/resources/vof_guidelines_for_organic_certification_of_fruit_vegetable_crops.pdf)

Individual (Private) Plot: This option is for the experienced gardener who wants to manager their own plot organically for their own purposes. There is a fee of $20 for a 20'x20' plot, plus a $30 deposit which will be returned if you properly clean up your plot before October 10th. This option is not available for individuals new to gardening.

Collaborative Plot: This option is for a group of individuals who are interested in managing a plot collectively. This option is ideal for student or friend groups who are interested in gardening organically together and who may not have the time to manage their own plot. There is a fee of $20 for a 20'x20x plot, plus a $30 deposit which will be returned if you properly clean up your plot before October 10th. The fees can be divided among the members of the collaborative group.

Open Space: This option is ideal for individuals who are newer to gardening, or individuals who are interested in learning more about organic gardening from professionals, or individuals who are interested in being more involved with the community at large. The garden's open space is facilitated by the Garden Managers, and it entails open gardening hours where anyone can show up, learn how to garden, and take home a share of the harvest. There is no limit to how much a person can participate in the open space, nor is there a minimum for participation. This option is free of charge.
