Project Life Advocacy Bootcamp
Finding purpose after a significant medical diagnosis can be difficult.  For those of us who are diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC), finding purpose often affects quality of life (QOL) significantly.  Many living with MBC find that purpose and significance through advocacy; at the same time, there are also many who struggle to find their niche, who long to participate in advocacy.

In June and July of 2023, we will be hosting our first  inaugural Advocacy Bootcamp, which is focused on those people living with MBC or caring for someone living with MBC who are looking to find/establish their advocacy niche.  We will spend time helping each participant to discover and learn about themselves, their personalities and who/what influences their advocacy. Then, we will create a space and exercises to create a vision board and vision statements for advocacy.  Finally, each participant will receive an advocacy mentor and personalized introductions to those organizations each participant desires to volunteer with.

If you have questions before you fill out the application, please reach out to Abigail Johnston, the Director of  Mentorship for Project Life, her email is  mentorship@projectlifembc.com."

This application will ask you to be thoughtful in your responses.  Make yourself a cup of coffee, or tea or even a glass of wine, go out in the backyard put your feet up, and dive in.   Plan for an hour.   We really want to get to know you.  You matter.
