In the process of improving and making progress it is important to decide what you want to achieve. Setting clear goals will allow us to create a well-defined process and path, and help you to spot when you are falling behind, or off task.

Priority Rowing Goal – the one race, or benchmark, you desperately want to achieve this season
Supplementary Rowing Goals - the other key things, that if you achieved, will make the season more rewarding, or the Priority Goal more attainable. (consider short and long term goals, and process, outcome and performance goals)
Where do you think you rank as an athlete in the squad at the moment? (eg. V8, 3rd best cox etc.)
Are you already On Target? – How far away from the goals do you think you are now? And are you on track to achieve it.
Commitment to your goals – define how much time and effort you are willing and able to put into chasing your goals
