During distance learning, this document will serve as a replacement for a physical permission slip for your student to participate in the Dota 2 Club and Discord forum.

We will be hosting weekly club meetings and free play game nights, weekly team practices and we will be collaborating through a private Discord Server (the invite link will be provided once parent permission is submitted).

Students who join the club will gain access to our Discord server, where they can find other students to discuss strategy, share knowledge, and team up to apply their research in-game. The Discord server is moderated by our teacher sponsors, but will allow students to communicate freely about gaming. Although our Discord server is private, there are other servers out there that your student might find on their own; because of this, please monitor your student's Discord account as you would a social media account. Harmony is not responsible for content your student may encounter on any Discord server they find on their own. Students will be expected to follow all school behavior rules, as well as server specific rules in order to participate in the online community. If a student fails to adhere to our code of conduct at any time, they may be banned from all club activities at the discretion of club administrator.
