Applications for Free Fringe 2024.  This is for LIVE IN-PERSON shows only.  There is a separate procedure for VIRTUAL shows; do not use this form unless you intend to perform LIVE in Edinburgh in August.

Easy first question.  But students: avoid using your university email address if you can: sometimes they get deleted in June and then we can't reach you.
Provisional Show Title *
If you don't have a title yet, put a brief description like "Sketch Show".  You can change titles via our Title and Blurb Form, later on, as many times as you need to.
Contact Name (primary contact) *
NOT your telephone number.  That's three questions further on.  Last year, five people put numbers instead of names.  Why?  And not your email address either; you've already done that.  This question is: "What is your name?"  It's actually not hard.

Tell us why it will be good.  Include press and references, if relevant, especially if we don't know you. Write as one professional to another: we don't want a sales pitch.  Video links go in the next question.

Note: most of our venues are restricted to over-18s by their licence.  Don't let that stop you applying, but bear it in mind.

When an act has done well in their slot in the previous year, we often offer the same slot again. Would you like to return to your previous slot?  If not, why?  If so, what time was it?  In either case, what venue was it?  No promises; the slot may not be available for all sorts of reasons.

Which is the closest large city to you?
There might be meetings.  There might be contact groups of Free Fringers in your vicinity.  And if you live near Edinburgh, there might be things you can help with before the Fringe.

You need not be exact.  Put 0 if you live in your chosen city.  We just need an idea of the distance.  8km = 5 miles.  Shows outside UK/Ireland need not answer.
