*Funds are awarded as a one-time payment. No money will be given directly to scholarship winners. The Post-Secondary institution must verify a student is enrolled full-time.
If the student enrollment status changes, the scholarship will be withdrawn.

This scholarship does require an essay! You may want to type your essay before you begin the application and paste it into this application. Here is the essay prompt:

Explain your training experiences at Hillyard Technical Center. How has Hillyard Technical Center helped you toward achieving your future career goals? Give specific examples of things you have gained by being a student at Hillyard. Also describe in detail your future career goals. Discuss any financial needs you may have. Make sure to include the names of your Hillyard program and Hillyard instructor(s) in your one-page essay (400-500 words).
