It’s that time of year to prepare for our annual Middlesex County Walk to School Day and International Walk to School Day on October 4, 2023!
Join Keep Middlesex Moving (KMM) and your neighboring communities in teaching children in Middlesex County the importance of walking, and as a means of safe travel, exercise, and air quality preservation. In 2022 KMM helped organize successful walks in 32 schools and over 9,000 children participated!
We encourage you to sponsor a Walk to School event on any day in October. As in the past, KMM will provide you with free materials for all students participating in the walk event. Special materials will be provided for any Bike-to-School related events. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Christopher Gonda, Safe Routes to School Coordinator, at cgonda@kmm.org.
Please register by Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-registered/first-served basis. Once you register, we will contact you to coordinate how you will receive your giveaways.
