The NighttimeLab will highlight the value Austin's independent nightlife brings to the city. We will focus on current-day challenges & future trends addressing equity, accessibility, and sustainability - and what is needed for a diverse Austin to thrive.

We invite experts & new practitioners to:

• share their knowledge, challenges, and best practices
• co-create and prototype new models for action with the Austin nightlife community
• strengthen and build new connections locally & globally 

The NighttimeLab aims to re-envision a better “normal”. We know that what works in one political or cultural context may not work. The models shared at The Nighttime Lab are evolving. Think of them as a "kit of parts" for communities to modify in service of a more just and inclusive nightlife where they live.

If you are from somewhere other than Austin, we encourage you to research the current landscape better to understand the opportunities and challenges for independent scenes there. Be an active listener to knowledge bearers in the local scene at the event. And share your knowledge and connections generously! :)
