Badminton information 2023
Rangitoto College teams play in the North Harbour competition at both junior and senior levels. Weekly trainings are held at the Apollo Badminton Centre during the playing term, with games being played at the Forrest Hill Badminton Centre (A Grade) and Apollo Badminton Centre (B - D Grade).
Season Dates and fees
$70 Social - for Term 2 and 3 in Gym 1 and Gym 2, 3:30pm - 4:30pm.
$195 Senior Competitive - for term 2 (NH coaches) at Apollo, additional entry fees for competitions.
$125 Junior Competitive -
for term 3 (NH coaches) at Apollo, additional entry fees for competitions.
Social venue: Gym 2 and 3
Competition venue:
A Grade Teams - North Harbour Badminton Courts, Bond Cres
B Grade Teams - Apollo Drive, Mairangi Bay
This fees does not include winter tournament week, should you be selected to represent Rangitoto College.
Students must provide their own transport to and from each game.
Equipment:
Own racquet and non-marking court shoes for competitive and social badminton, we provide the shuttles for social badminton.
Uniform:
Rangitoto blue PE tee for competitive with plain white or black shorts and own sports clothing for social.
