TAC Application for LS 495 Fall 2019
This position is to co-teach the LS 495 with 2 faculty, Dr. Sanders and Dr. Kennison. This LS 495 has been designed with the goal of providing TA's with the pedagogical knowledge, instructional methodologies, and peer observation strategies suitable for teaching in large enrollment undergraduate courses with secondary sections overseen by TAs (i.e., discussion sections, laboratory sections, computational laboratory sections). The TAC will be responsible for co-teaching alongside us and will provide the expertise of understanding the day to day needs of new TA's. We are looking for a TAC who has had 2 quarters of teaching experience and is interested in improving teaching skills and advancing their pedagogical knowledge as well as their own professional development. The course curriculum has been completely re-designed, so there will be no need to do any major curriculum development. This is a 25% position. The class will be meeting in the fall on Wednesday's from 4-5:50 pm
