Career Activity Descriptions
Reality Store:  a simulation event where students go through different scenarios of life and budgeting for those expenses.  Volunteers will explain how the situation (like buying a car or paying a medical bill) might affect the students budget and lifestyle.  

Business Buddies:  volunteers will come into elementary classrooms for about 30 minutes to tell students about their careers and what it entails.  

Career Week:  donations and help in all buildings for this great event!  

Job Shadow:  volunteers will host a HS student for a day on the job.  
 
Reading Month:  volunteers will come into the elementary classrooms and read a career related book to the students.

HMS Career Day:  we need YOU to present about your career!  Volunteers present for about 25 minutes for 4 time slots at the MS on Career Day in December.  

HS Professional Trades:  representatives from the professional trades would set up a table at our Professional Trades Night and offer information and opportunities for apprenticeships and additional training opportunities for our graduates.
