Manchester Hackspace Formal Complaints Form
This form is to be filled in when a member wishes to report an incident involving another member or group of members behaving against the rules of the space. Complaints logged via this form will be stored privately on the board document hosting system. All complaints will be stored for a minimum of 5 years, and no more than 10 years.

The purpose of the complaints form is not necessarily to take action each and every time a complaint is logged, but to create a log of evidence.

If any member acts illegally, please do not hesitate to contact the authorities, considering the form secondary to the rule of law.

The Board of Directors will always endeavour to act swiftly to ensure all members have a positive experience at Manchester Hackspace, but please remember we are volunteers and our time is in short supply, and so we may not always be able to follow up incidents immediately.

There are 2 sections to this form. It should take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.

Please email board@hacman.org.uk if you have any further questions. If you are making a complaint about a member of the board, it is advised you contact an individual on the board to maintain confidentiality, their details can be found on the notice board in the space.
