A Junior Camp Counselor is a volunteer position offered by COMPUTERWISEKIDS INC.  During the summer weeks and various other times throughout the year we have a few positions available for a high school aged student to get work/ volunteer experience.

Must be in high school (14) or older

Must be willing to work Monday-Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm

Must be willing to commit to at least 2 weeks during the summer

Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site

Interested in helping younger children learn about and use technology effectively

Willingness and ability to follow the direction of adult staff members

Each day the volunteer will be asked to help with various tasks.  These tasks could range from simply help a child with a game such as Minecraft to sweeping the floor after lunch.  

A short pre-camp interview may be conducted over the phone with the interested volunteer to ensure they are able to fulfill the needs of this position.  Additional training may be needed before the start of camp to show what the expectation will be.

These hours can be used to count towards service hours for different organizations and schools.  Computerwisekids will provide a Volunteer Confirmation Letter at the end of the summer.
