CCS HBCU GOALS Virtual Family Engagement Session - Tuesday, March 22
The experience of attending a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) is simply like no other - lasting friendships, caring campus communities, and a commitment to legacy, leadership, academic excellence, and community service. Columbus City Schools has a rich legacy of encouraging students to learn about, visit, and enroll in HBCUs. Our Tuesday Virtual Family Engagement Session will unveil the new CCS HBCU GOALS initiative to boost HBCU exposure and enrollment. Learn about the common application used by many HBCUs and how students will have an opportunity to hear from current HBCU students from Columbus. Plus, our partners at the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) will talk about the free money available to help pay for a HBCU education.
