Electrolysis takes commitment from the client as it takes time to reach permanency. We have numerous cycles of hair growth and this varies between individuals. Some cases it can take 12-18 months to witness all the cycles of hair and with that said, it is not exactly clear when you with be permanently hair-free. Refrain from tweezing, waxing and threading the area to be removed once you start electrolysis. These methods can stimulate growth.

Please refer to the Electrolysis Care form for how to best care for your skin. If infection occurs, you will experience swelling, pus, and extreme redness. Contact Chava and then your physician if you have an infection.
I recognize that each individual has various levels of skin sensitivity and that some types may require more home care than others. Since electrolysis introduces electric action inside the dermal layer of the skin, potential side effects must be considered.


*Potential Side Effects and Remedies
*Redness (diminishes with hours of treatment) Apply ice pack for 20 minutes
*Soreness (diminishes 24-48 hours of treatment) Apply ice or your favorite pain reliever
*Tiny red scabs (Do Not Pick) fall off on their own under a week
*Minimal swelling (diminishes within hours of treatment)
*Milia or whiteheads (bacteria moving out of the follicles) Epsom salt compress
*Post treatment hyperpigmentation (Stay out of sun, wear SPF 30, shorter appointments, and extended time between each appointment)
*Pitting (Do not use products with salicylic acid, Retin A, or any acne medication)

*Please be aware that there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any violation, including portions of an appointment missed will be subject to full charge. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it may be cancelled. Also, if you feel that the business relationship is not a good fit, either party can terminate the relationship at will.
