Institute for Independent Journalists 2024 Call for Proposals and Ideas
We're looking for speaker ideas and session proposals that will empower, educate and support independent journalists, and help us deepen our craft. The focus should be practical, relevant advice and strategies that help attendees reach their professional goals and sustain their mental health and well-being. The conference and webinars have limited capacity for speakers and moderators, so please let us know if you'd like to be involved in another way. We would love to include you in some capacity. (Organizing a panel is a great way to meet the speakers!) We're also looking for accountability group members and group managers, who serve as a point of contact for the IIJ.

We will be reviewing this form in three waves: on April 1, Aug. 1 and Nov. 1. The sooner you submit ideas, the sooner you can see them come to life! ET. All speakers and moderators will receive complimentary registration to the 2025 conference.

If your proposal or speaker idea is accepted, you will receive information about next steps by email. Send any questions to info@theiij.com Thanks so much!
