MMC Winter Mini-Retreat: Feb. 6, 2021
As we discern our way forward this year, MMC is excited to host a Winter Mini-Retreat where participants can bring their curiosity and creativity to a time of community-led conversation and resourcing. We'll gather at Noon EST on Saturday, February 6 to set our intentions for the day. Then, you're invited to bring your burning questions and interests to shape (2) one-hour afternoon sessions of singing and sharing (at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. EST). Small groups will briefly report out as we conclude the day at 5:30 p.m. EST, celebrating all we have experienced together. In the break between the afternoon sessions, we'll offer several restorative, self-care practices you can enjoy at and away from your screen.

The retreat will draw on experiences of Open Space technology from recent online retreats. The Open Space process is a self-organizing practice that releases the inherent creativity and leadership in people. Inviting us to take responsibility for what we care about, Open Space establishes a marketplace of inquiry, reflection and learning, helping to bring out the best in both individuals and the whole.

Registration for the retreat is on a sliding scale, from $75 to $50 USD. Consider how many sessions you plan to participate in, then pay what is generous and affordable. Registration is limited to 40 people- fill out this Google registration form to let us know you're planning to attend.

Limited scholarships are available. Please contact Charlotte Moroz at charlotte@musicthatmakescommunity.org or (929) 266-4662 to learn more or if you have any questions.
