Please join us for an outdoor house concert with singer-songwriters Eli Conley and Nikbo, and celebrate the release of Eli's single "Making Something New"!
About the Artists:Nikbo (she/they/siya) is a Filipinx and Third Culture artist who makes music for deep-feelers and collective freedom-seekers. Blending elements of art pop and neo-soul with sounds from their childhood living in Morocco, Malawi, and Kazakstan, Nikbo shares stories from the diaspora and provides a sonic refuge to process the highs and lows of living in these times. You can support Nikbo directly by visiting their website at www.nikbomusic.com.
Eli Conley (he/him) is an indie folk singer-songwriter and teaching artist based in Sacramento, California. As a queer trans guy, his songs tell stories that aren’t often reflected in roots music. Eli's upcoming album "Searching for What's True" addresses big themes like gender, loss, and aging through the concrete and immediate details of daily life: a stolen truck, a stuffed animal clutched in a child's arms, a colorful sunset after a forest fire. At heart, Eli is a clear-eyed songwriter with high hopes for the human race. His songs urge us to love ourselves even when it feels like the world does not. You can’t help but sing along. www.eliconley.com
