Questionnaire - national control networks: what is their relevance today?

The following questionnaire is an important supplement to my research work on condition, significance and use of state/national control networks in modern surveying.

Information and opinions gathered among surveyors - the real users of control networks will be essential for more complete and proper evaluation of obtained results. They will also allow to give adequate context to local conditions and experiences.

Filling in the contact field at the end is optional. However, in selected cases it will allow for a slight extension of the survey in order to clarify the submitted answers or to express opinions on issues related to the conducted research. The collected personal data will be used ONLY for the purpose of the above mentioned studies.

Are there any areas in the region where you are surveying where it is not possible to receive network corrections from ground reference station systems for RTN-GPS (Real Time Network)? *

Yes, the reason is lack of adequate GSM coverage

How do you rank the condition of the national/state control network in the area where you perform surveying measurements? *

Its condition and density allow measurements to be made using classical methods (e.g. totalstations) and RTK-GPS.

It is moderately degraded. Measurements by classical methods are performed with difficulty but but RTK-GPS measurements are not inconvenient

It is heavily degraded. Even RTK-GPS measurements are difficult to perform.
