Our indoor training camps are returning in 2024. This year we've extended the coaching sessions to 90 minutes based on feedback from last year, but kept the hour of free throwing at the end.

Camps are every Friday night from 830 PM to 11 PM at Foote Field on the U of A Campus. From 830 - 10, Coach Gabe Piska will offer his expertise to help you improve your game on a small section of the field. Starting at 10, we open up the full field for individual practice. If you haven't been to the field before, it is a regulation CFL field measuring in at around 450 feet.

This year, we have three camps that you can sign up for:

General Training Camp #1 - Jan 26 to Feb 16 - Great for beginner and intermediate players looking to learn and review general disc golf form for a variety of shots. No experience necessary. 30 spots available.
Experienced Small Group Camp - Feb 23 to March 29 - This camp will focus on individual form review and self-guided practice. Week 1 will focus on form review and feedback from 830-10, then normal free throw time afterwards. Weeks 2-5 will have you join the 10 pm - 11 pm free throw sessions to work on the feedback provided. Week 6 will be another form review session to discuss your progress and make any further adjustments. This camp is designed for experienced players looking to make minor adjustments to established form to (hopefully) break through plateaus. 12 spots available.
General Training Camp #2 - March 1 to March 22 - Great for beginner and intermediate players looking to learn and review general disc golf form for a variety of shots. No experience necessary. 30 spots available. This will be the same content as Camp #2.

Each of these camp will be $100. You can sign up for multiple camps if you wish. Registration and drop-in rates for only free throwing will be made available as capacity allows.
