The Colantuoni Hunt Seat Supplemental Grant will cover the
following expenses (in addition to Benevolent Fund financial aid):

•   An additional 2 lessons per month @ $25/lesson ($50/month-up to $450)
•   $75 travel stipend for (up to) 5 regular shows ($375 max)
•   $100 travel stipend for Regional Finals
•   $150 additional travel stipend for Zone Finals
•   $300 additional travel stipend for Nationals
•   Entry fees will be paid for team classes at Post Season shows
      (if applicable-$360 max)
•   Maximum Grant amount to be awarded to any applicant: $1735
DEADLINE: AUGUST 15, 2023

Requirements for application:
1. Must apply for the IEA Benevolent Fund Rider Financial Assistance Program
    with a Sponsoring Coach.

2. In addition to the materials requested for the IEA Financial Assistance
    Program, the applicant must also submit the following:
    •   A written statement from the rider describing how this grant can
           assist them with reaching their goals (1 page max)
    •   A two-three minute video submission that shows the rider’s ability.
           (:30 at trot / :30 at canter / 6-8 jump course
           (if applicable to ability level). Phone videos are perfectly acceptable.

Approval Period:
Applications will be reviewed immediately following the review of the Benevolent Fund / IEA Financial Aid applications. Riders who are awarded FULL aid by the Benevolent Fund Committee will be additionally reviewed for the Colantuoni Supplemental Grant if application and supporting materials are received by the deadline date of August 15th. The sponsoring coach of each rider-applicant will be notified of the award and can then notify the rider and the parent/guardian.
