IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR PROPOSAL

Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, 10000 Beach Club Resort Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572 is the site for the 2021 Carolina TESOL conference, October 27-29, 2021. DEADLINE to submit proposals is August 20, 2021. Presenters MUST register AND pay for the conference prior to September 28, 2021 in order to be included in the 2021 Carolina TESOL program. Our theme for our this conference is: What the Pandemic Taught Us: Caring for All Students in an Age of Uncertainty

EQUIPMENT: All presentation rooms will be equipped with LCDs and screens as well as Internet access. You will need to provide your own Laptops and speakers for videos. If you use a MAC computer, please bring a converter. One will NOT be provided. If you require an ELMO, overhead projector, etc. you will need to furnish it.

Please note if you require to be accommodated on specific days and/or times to present, you will need to email the conference coordinator at conference@carolinatesol.com (No guarantees on specific dates and times) If not, and your proposal is accepted, please plan to present during any session between 2:00 pm Wednesday through 10:00 am Friday. Carolina TESOL has taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, other attendees, exhibitors, and staff. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Carolina TESOL events and activities. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. I acknowledge that participation in Carolina TESOL events and activities brings some risk and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being. I will follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, and all posted instructions while visiting Carolina TESOL events and activities. I understand, agree and hereby consent that my failure or disregard to follow all protocols in effect and required by Carolina TESOL, CDC, the venue provider and governing authorities during my attendance at Carolina TESOL’s conference is hereby sufficient grounds to be excluded from attending the event by Carolina TESOL or event authority, and I hereby consent in advance to leave and exit the event, without protest or refund, upon request by Carolina TESOL or event authority due to my refusal to follow said protocols.
