As we assess the damage from Hurricane Ida, the Broadmoor Improvement Association (BIA) is here to support residents throughout the recovery process. This survey is to help us determine where there are needs in the neighborhood, as well as who might have resources and skills to share as we coordinate the immediate post-storm response.

The BIA will publish resources as we become aware of them on our website: broadmoorimprovement.com/news. If you have an emergent need for food assistance or other essential services, please call 311.

In addition, we would like to facilitate building a response network right here in Broadmoor. We envision a network of neighborhood volunteers that could help with the following things in coordination with other City-run resources:
- Sharing supplies and equipment for mucking and gutting and other necessary home repairs
- Staffing meal distribution sites throughout the neighborhood
- Checking in (possibly remotely) on elderly residents
- Assisting with necessary home repairs
-Offering a charging station for electronic devices
