This form will take you through a decision matrix to communicate your plans to join Troop 29 or 1029's summer activity program. Our goals for the summer are to maintain a small group camping environment but maximize our ability to provide a challenging and rewarding summer experience for our scouts.

For all of Troop 1029 and for Troop 29s younger scouts we are offering a week long summer camping opportunity at Rodney Scout Reservation the week of July 25-31st.

For older Troop 29 scouts we are offering three troop sponsored small group High Adventure activities. These mini-high adventure activities are specifically planned to engage older scouts. It is our intention to limit the capacity of each of these adventures - first come/first served.

1. Water Sports - June 24-27 - at Stan Sykora's place on the Chesapeake, about 45 minutes from RCCPC;
2. Boot n Paddle - July 8-11 - starting point is Milford Beach, PA, in Delaware Water Gap about 3 hours from RCCPC;
3. Backpacking - July 15-18 - undecided, but probably on the Appalachian Trail within a few hours of RCCPC or the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania which is about 4 hours from RCCPC.
- Travel: Carpooling with adults troop leaders who will be leading the three High Adventure activities.

COVID Testing Required

The Troop Committee has determined that since the summer activities will be significantly longer than a simple weekend campout we need to take extra ordinary measures to maintain a safe environment.

ALL participants will need to show written proof of COVID vaccination or have a negative COVID test within 3 days of arrival at camp.
