Pantry Packs (Fridays) - Help school counselor assemble/distribute food packs for Hopelink, Pantry Packs Juanita families

Lunch Buddies (Lunchtime) - Share your lunch hour with a student; your presence makes a difference in their lives

Health Room (Lunchtime) - Comfort students, apply ice, take temps, notify parents; no previous medical experience necessary

Reader Board* - Update outdoor school reader board with current events and information

Kid Mail - Distribute any flyers and handouts from the kiddie mail folder in the breakroom into teachers’ boxes.

MONTHLY OCCURENCES

Art Docent - Lead/Co-lead provided class art projects 1-3 hours per month. No previous experience required.

Bulletin Board* - Decorate and update PTA bulletin board with current events and information

Reading Helpers - Help individual students with reading fluency

ONGOING

Watch D.O.G.S. "Dads of Great Students" - Male volunteers to be a positive male role model in class or recess. Full day or half day.

Yearbook* - Assist in organizing digital photos of school events into yearbook pages online

Event Photography* - Take photos at Juanita school events for the yearbook

Office Help - Organizing, making copies and filing for school staff

Think Green - Organizing and executing programs or events to encourage ways to decrease carbon footprint

Translation/Language Assistance - Assist staff with multi-language families.

Arrival/Dismissal Patrol - Assist students with crossing streets and getting in or out of vehicles.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Clothing and Textile Drive* (Spring) Help plan, organize, promote, or collect donations of clothing and textiles

Family Movie Night* (Once a Quarter) Help set up, pop popcorn, sell concessions, count money, and/or clean up

Holiday Bazaar (November/December) Help plan, promote, set up vendor stations or clean up vendor stations

Popcorn Fridays (One Friday per Month) Pop and sell popcorn during lunch hour and recess

Other Restaurant Events* Promote, make, or wave signs to spread word of proceed donations to our school
