Your willingness to volunteer with us is greatly appreciated! Our hot lunch programs wouldn't be possible without dedicated volunteers like you.

To get started, please take a moment to complete the following questions. This will help us gather some basic information about you. Once you've completed the form, you'll receive a link at the end that will guide you to our hot lunch volunteer sign-up document. There, you can select the dates and shift times that suit your schedule.

Rest assured, one of our hot lunch coordinators will be in touch with you the day before your scheduled shift to confirm the time and provide any additional details you may need.

We'd also like to invite you to consider joining our WhatsApp group by clicking HERE. Don't worry, we promise not to inundate you with notifications. We only use this group for last-minute changes to shifts or when we need additional volunteers due to unforeseen circumstances like cancellations due to illness.

I am interested in volunteering for the following roles:

Friday parent/guardian-led hot lunch program: Shifts typically last 45-60 minutes and start at either 11:15 or 12:15. Your job is to help sort, label and deliver the hot lunch to classrooms. Training provided on site and you don't need to commit to all Fridays, you can pick and choose those shifts that work best for you.

Friday afternoon hot lunch clean up: Typically a 15-20 minute commitment, your job is to clean up the hot lunch distribution tables, return the lunch trays and other supplies to the school kitchen and collapse the 3 lunch tables (training provided on your first shift).

Tuesday or Thursday afternoon hot lunch clean up: A 5-10 minute commitment before afternoon pick up, your job is to remove any food or trash left in the lunch bags, place the bags into bins, and collapse the 3 lunch tables.

Tuesday or Thursday morning hot lunch table set up: A less than 5 minute commitment. Pop into the school after dropping your child off in the morning and set up the 3 hot lunch tables so they are ready for the lunch delivery later in the day. You can volunteer for one or both mornings based on your availability.

I'm interested in joining or supporting the hot lunch coordinators: I'd like to join the hot lunch coordinators team (or support the team with more commitment) and be part of selecting vendors, helping with the admin side of the hot lunch program and/or attending most of the hot lunch dates. You don't need to commit to everything to become a hot lunch coordinator. There are natural divisions in the tasks that can easily be split between multiple parents, many of which can be done from home or remotely.
