The National Handicraft and Cottage Industries Development Board seeks to enhance its products and services to better facilitate the empowerment of relevant practitioners and the growth of their respective industries. The Board endeavors to effectively play its role toward shaping an ideal environment that empowers practitioners to hone their skills; advance their disciplines and enhance their capacities to enjoy meaningful economic benefit, while safeguarding and celebrating our unique cultural heritage and identity.
Critical factors for success include the presence and active engagement of skilled practitioners, and the capacity to develop the skills necessary to meet demand and emerging opportunities. To this end, the Board intends to enhance efforts to facilitate such training to empower stakeholders to effectively compete and succeed.
